All I know is the longer one has been transitioned, the less one tends to bring it up at first so unless dating is arranged through services that are trans-specific, such as some websites or nightlife haunts, then it&amp;#39;s easy to end up in an awkward situation for both parties.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I&amp;#39;ve spoken for quite some time for the need of additional vocabulary to bridge the gap between straight and gay relations as although there are superficial similarities to both, the trans experience is seperate from both too. In fact I&amp;#39;ll shortly be adding from the ton of responses I gathered to my post at http://www.danistroom.com/inspirations/help/transexual-admirers-gay-straight.html on whether people think &amp;quot;curvy&amp;quot; is a useful term for those that are neither bent nor straight or indeed if we need such words at all.
